Bedtime Hunter

Game made by Aghababa Baghirov during Games Now! 2025 jam. 

“Bedtime Hunter” is a short 3D surreal puzzle-game about trying to reach your bed.
Every night, as the player walks toward their bedroom, the hallway subtly transforms into a dreamlike world filled with Hunters—tall, mask-wearing entities that block the path unless you carry enough cute objects.

But cute objects also have weight:
carrying too few means Hunters stop you,
carrying too many means bridges collapse and the player collapses from exhaustion.

To reach the bed, players must navigate simple choices and tiny puzzles: deciding how many cute things to take, when to drop them, and how much emotional “sweetness” they need to feel safe before sleep—without letting it overwhelm them.

The game uses cuteness as a metaphor: even comforting things can make us heavy, and sometimes the path to rest requires balance, not escape.
